#slowsummerstitch - 'In conversation with the Planet'

In May 2021 Stitched Stories responded to a call from Season for Change to use our creative voices to 'talk' about how climate change has affected us.  A group of stitchers worked on individual stitched panels that illustrated their own narratives.  We stitched slowly through the summer.  In the gallery below you will see each panel.  You can also click on each image individually to enlarge it.

Ahead of the UN Climate Change Conference we wanted to add our voices to the debate. The world is watching and the time is now.

Below the main gallery is a free downloadable E-book which places the creative project in its broadest context.  Below that, is a second gallery showing small extracts from the pieces as well as work-in-progress.  A huge thank you to everyone who took part in this very important project.
